The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate must be available for the hours:Monday- Sunday 4:00 P.M. - 5:00 A.M.

Gate Monitor

McKinley is looking for a motivated and energetic Gate Monitor to join our team located in Ann Arbor, MI!
Position information:
As a Gate Monitor you will regulate vehicle and pedestrian traffic at apartment community entrance to maintain orderly flow. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring gated apartment communities against unauthorized or unlawful entry; assisting in proper operation of gate and examining gate for notification of needed repairs; sounding alarm or calling police or fire department by telephone in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons; permitting authorized persons to enter property; warning violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles; contacting appropriate authorities and/or backup in situations requiring apprehension or expulsion of persons engaged in criminal/suspicious activities.
